Warm atmosphere, impeccable service

Le Repos des Chasseurs was born in the mid-17th century, on the edge and under the foliage of the Sonian Forest, an area that is protected today. At the time this «Hunters’ Rest» was a relay for passers-by to stock up on supplies. The restaurant was started in the early 19th century, with white cheese sandwiches and it famous ‘anguilles au vert’ (stewed eel in a chervil sauce) on the menu. It quickly became a key meeting place for gourmets and game lovers.
